About the Artist
Rachel was born and raised in the beautiful Rocky Mountain region of Montana. She received her BFA in Metalsmithing from MSU in Bozeman, Montana in 2002, and her MFA in Metalsmithing at SUNY New Paltz in New York in 2005. Rachel's work has a timeless sensibility with a modern perspective. Her designs are often edgy and visually intriguing as her work often stems from such animalistic elements as snake skin, gazelle horn, and buffalo skull. Her collection is handmade in her studio in upstate New York using sterling silver, 14k and 18k gold, along with all natural hand-selected gemstones.
